I’ve just realised I’ve been neglecting my blog. Mainly because I’ve not had the slightest opportunity to see a movie or watch tv during the last couple of weeks. Partly it’s because I’ve been hectic at work. I’ve just begun two major new projects, one that falls under the Department of Arts & Culture of South Africa, the other under the Ministry of Information of Namibia (just back from a week in Windhoek.) And I’m just in Cape Town before I head to Tanzania for a week with a WIPO project that falls under the United Nations. And then to Glasgow and Belfast on a research project. So it’s been a bit pushed, busy-wise. But I did take time out to watch the elections, and I am so beyond delighted with the results. Democrats, pot, gay marriage, 1st Hindu to Congress, 1st Buddhist to Senate – diversity in America rocks.
