This second poster for Nate Parker’s much-awaited The Birth of a Nation shows an American flag as a lynching noose around Nat Turner’s – and thus metaphorically speaking, Black America’s – neck. This is just the latest in an admirable delivery by the marketing team at Fox Searchlight, with each teaser, trailer and poster being both strong and memorable.
