OK, so there’s not much to the J-Law thriller, The House at the End of the Street. Jenn and her mum move into a new home in a leafy neighbourhood. The only problem: there’s a spooky house across the yard where a young girl once butchered her family. Only her one surviving, damaged, lonely (child star all grown up) brother lives there now, generally ostracised by the good town folks. Jenn of course, being a teenage girl, thinks she knows better, and that he’s just sweet and misunderstood….. I don’t want to give away the plot so I won’t say much more except it filmed in Metcalfe, Ottowa and it won’t be doing a huge amount for Ms. Lawrence’s otherwise meteoric career.
